High-C

High-C® is a novel preparation of vitamin C, available in multiple flavors, and specially recommended by the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences & Peking Union Medical College.

Vitamin C, or ascorbic acid, is a water-soluble vitamin that is necessary for normal growth and development. It promotes a healthy immune system, helps wounds heal, maintains blood vessels and connective tissue and aids in the absorption of iron.

As the body does not manufacture or store vitamin C on its own, inadequate daily intake results in vitamin C deficiency, which can manifest via a wide array of symptoms, including: dry and splitting hair, gingivitis, bleeding gums, rough, dry, scaly skin, and others.

Each High-C tablet contains 200mg vitamin C, and is available in four popular flavors: apple, orange, grape and tropical fruit.
