The injection form of Ketorolac provides more rapid onset and greater efficacy for the management of moderate to severe post-operative pain.

Oral versus Injection

Keterolac provides enhanced analgesic efficacy relative to other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). Its oral forms are widely prescribed in China for mild to moderate post-operative pain. However, the effective management of more severe post-operative pain requires a more efficient route of administration.
