Liuliuqi® is a calcium supplement for the prevention and treatment of hypocalcemia.

Calcium, the most abundant mineral in the body, is required for muscle contraction, blood vessel expansion and contraction, secretion of hormones and enzymes, and transmitting impulses throughout the nervous system.

Common causes of hypocalcemia can result from factors such as inadequate intake of dietary calcium over an extended period, renal failure, surgical removal of the stomach, or use of certain medications. Symptoms of hypocalcemia include numbness and tingling in the fingers, muscle cramps, convulsions, lethargy, poor appetite, and abnormal heart rhythms.
