 Licensed from Bayer Schering Pharma, Recofol® was the first of the new class of intravenous anesthetic agents – the alkylphenols – to be commercially introduced in China. It is a sedative-hynoptic agent with rapid onset and recovery, with broad applications in general anesthesia and sedation.
As Recofol® is not an analgesic agent, supplementation with intravenous opioids such as fentanyl or sufentanil is required.
